It has been 3 weeks & 1 day. So far I am feeling like 😝, looking like 😬, & getting tasks done 😊!!!! I just keep telling myself I can sleep in 5 months. 😍Sleeeeeep. It's funny because I slept-in this past weekend until 11AM! I don't know if I have slept 💤 that long since college! 👍 Needless to say, it was much needed! I have spent the past three weeks staying up pretty late, after work, gym, & the pile of papers that is like a CHIA pet, ever-growing! 📚 This is what 3 weeks & 1 day looks like...so far...

I guess seeing more green than red is exciting & actually rather assuring! Ladies, if you've planned a wedding wether it be your own or helped a friends am I on track time-wise??? Honestly, I am so thankful that we took an extra month when we decided on May. Believe it or not, we were initially hoping for an April opening! But, as time and our venue choices changed without us even meaning to fall in love with another location, Memorial Day weekend was open! We said "We'll take it" without even really thinking it over. We just looked & each other and knew. Honestly, we couldn't have planned for a better weekend. Best of all, the extra month helps me to have extra time to spread out all the little things (not listed above) like custom signage for the ceremony & reception area, finding gold, beaded chargers, customizing centerpieces, debating over color or B/W monogram for the dance floor, how in the world Charlie 🐶 is going to walk 🐾 down the aisle without jumping on everyone's lap.... YIKES! But, like I said we have lots of time left.
This past weekend we just finished our Save the Dates. ***Insert huge deep breath of relief: both for the finished task & the spreadsheets of Hades defeated! As Joshua & I are both from the Midwest (Michigan & Wisconsin) half of our invited guests will be traveling. We felt it very important to inform them of the date & location giving them ample time or as much as we could to prepare if they intend on traveling. I tried to go through two different website until I stumbled upon the third that seamlessly helped me to print my vision! I will be doing a post very soon on why I recommend this website and the difficulty I unfortunately had with the others.
