Whew! If you read my post this past Tuesday, you would have seen I found some much needed excitement from new items I've added to my closet. A few months ago I decided that the clothes in my closet, some being ten years old, needed to find a home that would actually use them. This was not only necessary, but a huge task that everyday I'm finding more and more overwhelming. But, I say bring on the challenge. A clothes challenge: the best kind! I've always had a hard time getting rid of items that I don't currently use. I hate knowing that I'm not fully appreciating or using blessings that I have. However, the organization I donate to will find much more use than the official dust collector I have allowed them to become. So, the past couple of months have looked like this: a couple of flats here, classy-sassy heels there, versatile tops here, teacher button-ups there, jewelry to add that extra ***sparkle***, a touch of "OH, look at that color; it matches my top, I have to get that purse", these pants are so comfy, and a winter vest. ...because well, you've done a lot of shopping. Good job self; you deserve it! ;) And, here we are.
I have been having so much fun with the entire process and the way I present myself. This past week I paired this blue button-up from JCREW (below) with gray COLE HAAN flats. (I couldn't find the exact pair online; the style below is similar.) You can't see the necklace and earring in this OOTD picture. Fall was finally beginning to kick in this week, and so are the colder temperatures. I threw on a scarf to match my pick MICHAEL KORS bag to snap this picture. When I was inside I did take a picture of the JCREW necklace (similar, below) and earrings.
I posted the earrings I was wearing and a similar pair under $20.
